Class Schedule

The 'back to school' season is upon us. This got me to planning out the schedule for my classes. I teach Painting as a Hobby at the Myrtle Beach Base Rec Center. These classes are for all skill levels. Some students have never picked up a brush before, others have painted all of their lives. I work with everyone on their own projects at their own pace based upon their own skill level. I keep it a fun, relaxed atmosphere where everyone learns and has fun doing it! About the middle of each class I do a demostration for all to watch. On Thursday mornings I teach Oils and Acrylics. Thurday afternoons is an open studio where anyone can come and work on any project and I answer questions and give guidence. If there is enough interest, I will start an evening class on Tuesdays for Oils, Acrylics and Watercolor. If you are more interested in watercolors and color pencils, my friend and fellow artist/instructor Kate Lagaley holds a class for those on Tuesday mornings. If you ever wanted to try painting, Oils are the easiest to learn with - they are the most forgiving. If you want to improve or have hit a roadblock on a painting or just looking for a fun way to work on your art, give us a try.
