At the open studio on Thursday, I created a second rendition of the second idea for the Sept 27 workshop. I really like this one and will use it as the star of the workshop.
Thanks to Foster Caddell for the inspiration of the composition. His book 'Keys to Successful Landscape Painting' has been my bible since I began painting. If you can find it I highly recommend it. It is one of the first art 'how to' books I ever bought on the recommendation of a wonderful art supply store owner and has been a very valuable tool ever since.
